Penelope recently visited Criminal Justice, to guest speak with previous classmates about her current employment experience.
Here is what she had to share:
Describe the company or industry in which you currently work.
"I am currently working for Yellow Breeches EMS. YBEMS is a BLS Organization in the Boiling Springs/Carlisle area".
What is your job title and what do you do?
"I am an EMT. I respond to emergencies, provide patient assessment and care, and perform life saving measures".
What additional education and training did you receive after leaving CPACTC?
"I took an EMT course at HACC while I was in high school. CPACTC gave me over half of my corequisites needed for the course".
How was Cumberland Perry different than your regular high school?
"CPACTC Criminal Justice program prepared me for the workforce I wanted to enter. I earned certifications and I did internships, that I wouldn't have had the opportunity to complete in high school otherwise".
